*Add one position to the Outreach and External Relations Committee called "Webmaster".
*Webmaster would be responsible for making changes to and managing the Darfur Action Committee website, including, but not limited to the following URL's: www.international.ucla.edu/darfur, and the DAC Facebook group.
Notes:
-Webmaster would essentially be responsible for telling Sheila Breeding, DAC's rep at the African Studies Department, what changes we want to make to the UCLA-based website so that she can make them herself.
-Adding this position to the OERC means that the OERC's co-chairs are responsible for overseeing the work of the Webmaster.
Anyway, I'm writing to you because you are an admin on the Darfur Awareness Week at UCLA group. We are contacting college-aged people in the Los Angeles area to help us start a movement that would encourage people to use sports for good- having a skateboarding competition to raise money for cancer research or organizing a soccer tournament for disadvantage kids, for example. We still have a few spots left in the first-ever Play City Training Camp in LA, and we thought that this might be something you might be interested in being a part of. Oh, and one last thing - could you send this out to your group's members and let them know about this opportunity? We really need your help in spreading the word about this whole deal. If you have any questions/comments/complai
Thanks so much,
