(3) Transportation --- We all will be driving up to San Francisco due to several gracious people who have volunteered their car and themselves. The cost is partially subsidized by our fundraiser (TV taping) and funds from Dream for Darfur. All those who attended the TV taping and/or are driving up to SF, will not have to pay for the trip. Everyone else who has been working on this campaign (CPPs, CODs) will have to pay $20 for the trip. Anyone who wants to go but has not been involved in the rally planning will have to pay the full amount, which is $35. This money needs to be given to Rohan or myself before we leave. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Should we spend $350 in SOOF on transportation costs for the VISA rally? All $660 left in our account needs to be spent May 30th, and we'll being spending about $100 of that on letters as well.

Applying to funding sources

I know you some of you come up with great ideas for projects and stuff and want to apply to a funding source without delay. I truly admire that kind of spontaneity and inspiration, so please don't get me wrong on this, but I would appreciate it that if you want to apply to a funding source that you generally give me and the board a week's notice before you begin the process. I request this for a number of reasons: we can only apply to so many funding sources for a limited number of times before we're ineligible; also, the application process has to be done in the right way, and as the signatory who's held responsible to the CSP office I'd like to be kept in the loop so that I can keep them in the loop (plus, I'd like to make sure you get all the funding you need for your project(s)!). DAC is always doing a lot of different projects and so we can only put our name on so many funding applications, and because of this I'd also like to ensure that this is all being done in a fair way.
